1 Colombo
Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka, has a long history as a port on ancient east-west trade routes, ruled successively by the Portuguese, Dutch and British. That heritage is reflected in its its architecture, mixing colonial buildings with high-rises and shopping malls. The imposing Colombo National Museum, dedicated to Sri Lankan history, borders sprawling Viharamahadevi Park and its giant Buddha.

2 Negombo
Negombo is a city on the west coast of Sri Lanka, north of the capital, Colombo. Near the waterfront, the remains of the 17th-century Dutch Fort now house a prison. Negombo Lagoon, lined with fishermen’s huts, feeds into the Dutch-era Hamilton Canal. The canal leads south to Colombo. Neoclassical St. Mary’s Church, completed in the 1920s, features a ceiling decorated with vivid religious paintings.

3 Cultural Triangle
The Cultural Triangle is concentrated with many Buddhist Temples, Sculptures, Ancient Monasteries and Stupas while some of them date as back to over 2000 years. The area also covers some of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites including the ancient cities of Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa, Sigiriya, Dambulla and Kandy.

4 Kandy
Kandy is a large city in central Sri Lanka. It's set on a plateau surrounded by mountains, which are home to tea plantations and biodiverse rainforest. The city's heart is scenic Kandy Lake (Bogambara Lake), which is popular for strolling. Kandy is famed for sacred Buddhist sites, including the Temple of the Tooth (Sri Dalada Maligawa) shrine, celebrated with the grand Esala Perahera annual procession.

5 Nuwara Eliya
Nuwara Eliya is a city in the tea country hills of central Sri Lanka. The naturally landscaped Hakgala Botanical Gardens displays roses and tree ferns, and shelters monkeys and blue magpies. Nearby Seetha Amman Temple, a colorful Hindu shrine, is decorated with religious figures. Densely forested Galway's Land National Park is a sanctuary for endemic and migratory bird species, including bulbuls and flycatchers.

7 Bentota
Bentota is a resort town on Sri Lanka’s southwest coast. Its long Bentota Beach stretches north, where it becomes a sandy strip known as Paradise Island, parallel to Bentota Lagoon. Coral-rich dive sites include Canoe Rock. On Bentota River, centuries-old Galapota Temple has a large Buddha statue. Southeast is Lunuganga, the estate and gardens of architect Geoffrey Bawa. Northeast is his brother Bevis's Brief Garden.

  • Day 01: Arrival Colombo - Negombo (12kms/20mnts)
Greeted by Sri Lanka Travel Centre representative at the Bandaranaike International Airport and transferred to Negombo. Day at leisure to relax and unwind. Overnight at the hotel. (Vehicle for the transfer)

  • Day 02: Negombo
Today visit the city of Negombo, its picturesque lagoons and the fishing village. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel. (Vehicle at disposal)
Day THREE +-
  • Day 03: Negombo – Cultural Triangle (180kms/4hrs)
Today visit  the famed Cultural Triangle. Then check into your hotel at Anuradhapura. Overnight stay at the hotel. (Vehicle for transfer)
Day FOUR +-
  • Day 04: Cultural Triangle
Today visit the first royal capital of Sri Lanka in Anuradhapura founded in the 3rd century. Continue to Mihintale and visit the holy mountain dotted with temples and monasteries. Proceed to Habarana, visiting the magnificent Aukana Statue of Lord Buddha enroute. Check in to your hotel for your overnight stay. (Vehicle at disposal)
Day FIVE +-
  • Day 05: Cultural Triangle
Proceed to Polonnaruwa and visit the remains of the medieval capital located by the side of the magnanimous man-made “Parakrama Samudraya”. On your way back to the hotel, visit the Minneriya National Park, famous for its large herds of elephants gathering around the lakes in the afternoons. Overnight at the hotel. (Vehicle at disposal)

  • Day 06: Cultural Triangle
Proceed to visit Ritigala - the enigmatic mountain covered in dense forests which finds place in the Hindu epic Ramayana which was penned 3000 years ago. The mountain also features the remains of ancient Buddhist temples, hospitals and the dwellings of priests. Overnight at the hotel. (Vehicle at disposal)
Day SEVEN +-
  • Day 07: Cultural Triangle
Visit the Sigiriya rock fortress, an awe inspiring rock complex sitting atop a 200m rock outcrop. Built in the 4th century by a tyrant king fleeing exile, this fortress, now rated as the eighth wonder of the world, is an enthralling architectural marvel made unforgettable because of its settings.   • Day 08: Cultural Triangle – Kandy (80kms/2.5hrs)
Travel to Kandy. Enroute visit the cave temple complex in Dambulla. You can also visit a spice garden in Matale where many varieties of spices are grown. Travel onwards to Kandy and check into your hotel. Overnight at the hotel. (Vehicle at disposal)
Day NINE +-
  • Day 09: Kandy
Visit the Royal Botanical Gardens of Peradeniya in the morning and the city of Kandy in the afternoon. You can also pay a visit to the temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha and witness a cultural show in town. Overnight at the hotel. (Vehicle at disposal)

  • Day 10: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya (80kms/3hrs)
Travel to Nuwara Eliya, visiting a tea factory and a tea plantation on the way. Arrive in Nuwara Eliya and take a tour of the “little English town” famous for its lush carpets of tea hills. Overnight at the hotel. (Vehicle at disposal)
Day ELEVEN +-
  • Day 11: Nuwara Eliya
Leave the hotel early morning to visit Horton Plains in the hills. Trek to the beautiful Bakers’ Fall and the proverbial ‘World’s End’ offering the best panoramic views on the island. Overnight at the hotel.(Vehicle at disposal)
Day TWELVE +-
  • Day 12: Nuwara Eliya – Yala (200kms/5.5hrs)
Travel to Yala, located in the deep south of the island. Visit Yala National Park by jeep, accompanied by a tracker. Yala has a lot of wildlife to offer and is famous for having the highest concentration of leopards in the world. Proceed to the hotel and check in for your overnight stay.(Vehicle at disposal)
Day THIRTEEN +-
  • Day 13: Yala
Morning at leisure. Visit Yala National Park by jeep again in the afternoon. Overnight at the hotel. (Vehicle at disposal)

  • Day 14: Yala – Galle – Bentota (200kms/5hrs)
Travel along the southern coastline to Bentota, visiting the port city of Galle on your way. Continue to Bentota and check into your hotel. Overnight at the hotel. (Vehicle at disposal)
Day FIFTEEN +-
  • Day 15 – Day 18: Bentota
Days at leisure on the beach. Interesting excursions include a visit to a turtle hatchery in the area where concerned locals have established protected areas of beach where visiting turtles can safely hatch their eggs . Overnight at the resort.
Day NINETEEN +-
  • Day 19: Bentota – Colombo (65kms/2hrs)
Travel to Colombo and check into your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel. (Vehicle for transfer)
Day TWENTY +-
  • Day 20: Colombo
The day is free to explore Colombo’s myriad of shopping and dining adventures. Overnight at the hotel. (Vehicle at disposal)
