About this India itinerary

This 13 night honeymoon tour is recommended for those looking for a romantic getaway that involves going on the search of the elusive tiger across the national parks of India, besides discovering temples that celebrate love. You will visit Pench, Kanha, Bandhavgarh & Panna National Parks along with Delhi, Orchha & Khajuraho. You will follow the trail of tigers and watch wild animals in their natural habitat as you go for safaris to Pench, Kanha, Bandhavgarh & Panna National Parks. Visit Khajuraho, famous for its western group of temples depicting erotic sculptures of lovemaking. Orcha's grandeur has been captured in stone, frozen in time; a rich legacy to the ages. On this medieval city, the hand of time has rested lightly and the palaces and temple built by its Bundela rulers in the 16th and 17th centuries retain much of their pristine perfection.

Everything below is a sample. Our India team will stretch it, shorten it, swap the hotels up or down a category and build the days around what you actually want to do.

October to March, the sweet spot

Most of India is at its best from October to March, when the monsoon has cleared and the days are dry and warm. April to June is hot across the plains but ideal for the Himalaya, and the south-west monsoon from June to September brings heavy rain, deep green landscapes and the lowest prices of the year.
