Set amidst six hundred acres of sprawling, lush green cardamom and tea plantations, the Periyar Reserve Bungalow is a beautiful jungle lodge. Built in 1912, this colonial style bungalow is known for its settings and tranquil ambience. The eco-friendly jungle lodge offers comfortable accommodation and excellent dining & recreational facilities. The ground floor of the bungalow has a sitting room with large windows which offer views of the forest with occasional sightings of wild animals like Bisons, Sambars and Elephants. The first floor has a 'sit-out' which is open on both sides and provides a bird's eye view of the cardamom plantation.
