The Somatheeram Beach Resort was one of the forerunners of the concept of Ayurvedic resorts in Kerala. Set amidst lush green environs are traditionally styled bungalows, built in wood with antique carved doors and pillars. Each and every building is an example of contemporary Kerala architecture.
