Welcomed by Sri Lanka Travel Centre representatives at the Bandaranaike International Airport and transferred to the beautiful fishing village of Balapitiya through some very scenic routes along western coast of the Island. On arrival check into the five suite haven called the River House, set amidst lush green plantations and paddy fields. Relax and unwind. In the evening enjoy a romantic couple's massage and a complimentary bottle of champagne. Overnight stay. (Vehicle for transfer)

December to April, the sweet spot

Sri Lanka has two monsoons that hit different coasts, which is why the island works all year. The south-west monsoon brings rain to the west and south from May to September, while the north-east monsoon soaks the east from November to February. For the classic route through the Cultural Triangle, hill country and southern beaches, December to April is the sweet spot.
