The Purity at Lake Vembanad is a small lakefront retreat at Muhamma in Alleppey, set where Lake Vembanad opens out at its widest point. Tropical gardens, quiet pavilions, an infinity pool and private terraces make it a peaceful base for the Kerala backwaters.
There are 14 centrally air-conditioned rooms, made up of Vembanad Suites, Garden Suites and Deluxe Rooms. Rooms are individually styled with stone floors, antique and contemporary objects, large bathrooms, Wi-Fi, safe, coffee maker and a private veranda, terrace or garden sit-out. Some suites include en-suite Ayurveda wellness facilities.
The kitchen serves market-fresh cooking with local flavours, using local and organic produce where possible. Meals can be taken in the courtyard restaurant, beside the lake, by the pool deck or in the privacy of a veranda, while Purespa offers Ayurveda massages in two treatment rooms or en-suite in selected rooms.
