This is our signature Kenya route, built with our partners on the ground in Nairobi. It moves by road rather than light aircraft, so you see the country change between the parks: the highlands, the Rift Valley escarpment, the Maasai grasslands.
The vehicle is yours exclusively for the whole trip, with the same guide throughout, so each day is set by you. Packed breakfasts and picnic lunches mean you can stay out through the best hours rather than driving back for meals.

Kenya sits on the equator, so it is warm all year and the seasons are about rain rather than temperature. The long rains fall from late March to May and the short rains in November, both of which bring green plains and very few vehicles. June to October is the driest stretch and the classic safari window, with the migration in the Mara from late July to October.
